The challenge

Sound ideas die because nobody owns the case for them.

  1. 01

A well-researched proposal goes to the leadership team and comes back with 'let's revisit next quarter'.

  2. 02

Managers rely on escalation or seniority to get things done, and peers quietly stop cooperating.

  3. 03

Cross-functional projects stall because each department hears a different version of why it matters.

Who it's for

Designed for the people who carry the work.

Influence Skills Training works best when the right people are in the room. These are the groups we design it for.

01Middle managersWho need peers and senior stakeholders to back plans they cannot simply mandate.
02Project and program leadsWho depend on people in other functions to deliver on time.
03Technical specialistsWhose expertise is sound but whose recommendations are often overruled or ignored.
04Senior leadersWho want commitment from their teams, not reluctant compliance.

Outcomes

What changes after Influence Skills Training.

Practical shifts your people take back to work the next day, and keep using.

01Map stakeholders properlyIdentify who decides, who blocks and who advises, and what each of them actually cares about.
02Frame the casePresent proposals in terms of the other side's priorities, risks and measures of success.
03Influence without authorityBuild support across functions using credibility and reciprocity rather than title.
04Handle objections calmlyTreat pushback as information, ask better questions and adjust without losing the core point.
05Stay ethicalPersuade in a way people still feel good about a month later, which protects trust.
06Plan the conversationPrepare the sequence of conversations before the big meeting instead of hoping the room agrees.

Ask a question →
What does influence skills training cover?

It covers stakeholder mapping, framing a case around the other side's priorities, adapting your approach to different people, handling objections and influencing without formal authority. Participants work on real situations they face, not generic case studies.

Is this an influencing skills workshop or a sales course?

It is an influencing skills workshop for internal leadership situations: gaining support from peers, senior stakeholders and teams. The principles apply to clients too, but the practice is built around organizational decisions.

Can it be tailored to our organization?

Yes. We agree upon the focus areas with you beforehand and build the exercises around the decisions, meetings and stakeholder groups your people deal with.

How is it delivered?

Online or in-person. Duration and group size are agreed upon with you based on your objectives and the participants' level.

Who leads the sessions?

The sessions are led by ICF and IMC certified coaches from Team Transformation, who combine facilitation with coaching so participants leave with a plan they own.
