ICF hours, online format, fees and registration. Can't find your answer?
Ask the Academy team →Yes. Our coach training is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for Level 2 and Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC).
It depends on the program. The Introduction to Team Coaching gives 20 hours (20 ICF CCE units). The Master Team Coach Certification gives 115 ICF coach training hours, or 125 hours with the optional certification module for ACC and PCC. The Professional and Executive certifications are on the ICF Level 2 pathway, and the Executive program includes 10 mentoring hours (7 group, 3 individual).
The credential itself is awarded by ICF, not by any training provider. Our programs give you the accredited training, mentor coaching and performance evaluation you need, so you can apply to ICF for your credential.
ACC (Associate Certified Coach) is the first ICF credential level, and PCC (Professional Certified Coach) is the next. ACTC (Advanced Certification in Team Coaching) is a specialization for coaches who already hold an ICF credential and want to coach whole teams. ICF asks for at least 60 hours of team coaching education, team coaching experience, coaching supervision and an exam.
Not for every program. The Introduction to Team Coaching is designed for people new to team coaching. The Master Team Coach Certification is for experienced managers, facilitators and coaches. If you are unsure, request a callback and we will suggest the right starting point.
Programs run online via Zoom, in English, and are highly interactive: you practice with real people from the first day. In-person training is available on request, subject to a minimum number of participants.
Our online courses support six time zones, so participants from MENA, Asia and Europe can join at a reasonable hour.
Programs are led by ICF and IMC certified coaches. Our faculty includes Dr. Haris Syed, ICF MCC and team coach, and you receive feedback on your coaching from ICF PCC and MCC coaches.
From 2 days for the Introduction to Team Coaching, to 5 days for the Professional and Executive certifications, and 10 days for the Master Team Coach Certification. Assignments and mentoring continue after the live sessions.
